Dear Blog,
I somehow feel it as a blessing and a moment of peace where the weight is lifted from my head and heart. I want to cherish this fully and enjoy. I love the moment.
Week 2:
Not responding to my texts, calls and emails. I want to have some patience but this is rip-off seriously. I should have been bothered and all but he is the one acting rude and I am definitely not liking it.

The reason of hurting

Maybe the reason that I have been hurting so much is that I am losing my BFF. And i am really  sensitive and emotional when it comes to that. There is nothing more painful then losing someone you thought would stick around your thick and thin. Maybe one by one this is the end. Maybe this is how i am gonna pick up and strengthen my self Who knows whats gonna happen. Only time would tell.
It's the second day you know where I have gotten to know that thing. I knew there was something wrong and that patience was needed but this really is weird. I don't know how to make through this but i am sure if i can get through this i can get through anything. Maybe its needed to make me a stronger person. Ignore my rantings heart breaks are really difficult. There is a feeling of emptiness and longing in the heart.

Book review: To kill a mockingbird

"Shoot all the blue jays you want, if you can hit 'em, but remember it's a sin to kill a mockingbird." Well the book revolves around this particular allegory and one can't stop wondering about the meaning of phrase. In order to understand the significance of the meaning i picked up the book from the book shelf and thought to myself that it's time that I read it. I have known for a certain time that this book is given to the school children because teachers feel that this classic literature is a good influence on the children. And for this very reason maybe I was reluctant to read it at the first.
It revolves around the moral lawyer who tries to explain ethics and teaches them about what's right and wrong prevalent in the society and refrain them from following the wrong practices.
In that era the social classes weren't equal and negroes were not given the equal share. So as the story goes on the black fella is convicted of the crime that he didn't committ. Atticus Finch the hero of the story tries to defend the defendent and while doing so bring about the real criminals. So as the story goes on there is a whole plethora that needs to be felt, emotion and dark humour that brings about the beautiful masterpiece.
Do give the book a shot if you haven't read it

Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol’ days,

Hey guys! Just so you know this blog is reminiscence of the music of time when i grew up. I have been a great music fan and growing up in late 90s and early 2000 was the period in Pakistani music. But before we move onto music Let's just take a moment to appreciate the good things about our childhood and teenage years. The children of this generation would never experience the pain yet satisfaction of dial-up internet, engaged phone while someone is using the internet, PTV shows, action cartoons, underground bands, power rangers, Harry Potter series, Mario Sony, FIFA etc.
I remember I was in grade 7 when I requested my mother to buy me a walk-man. My parents though were not the biggest advocates of handing over the gadgets to their kids but I guess the times were changing. Ipods and desktops were in fashion. My schooling was done in one of the missionary school and this probably curbed the staunch religious mindset that is prevalent in our society. Anyways, studying n Cathedral school meant that no one was allowed to bring gadgets into the school however no one can stop discussion eh. Dawn children's section also used to come to our house and I totally loved the section where they posted about the new gadgets and changes that were taking place. So I get this idea that the cassetes were old-fashioned this is new era and should also have one the music storing device. Well speaking about that request I wasn't expecting that any such of my request would be catered but one day my mother tells me that she talked to my khala (she lives abroad) about walkman to which she replied that walkman is outdated. She would send me the Ipod or the MP3 soon. Well it should come as no surprise to you can imagine the happiness and ectasy of the child who requests the dinkies but get the remote control plane in return. That was my condition at the time.
Story cut short I was over the moon about my MP3 player which looked like Ipod Nano of pink colour. So it was a time to hit my MP3 with some great songs of all time. And that's exactly what I did.I have been a big fan of country songs. Have listented to different genras for instance with pop, rock and acoustic, alternative, metal songs, Coming to Pakistani songs in that era Atif Aslam, Jal, Call, Roxen, Mustafa Zahid, Noori, Entity Paradigm was the guys running music industry. God that was a beautiful time to live in Pakistan. Can't even forget the likes desi singers like Ali Sher, Jawad Ahmad, Abrar etc whom classics are still sung in the Mehandis. (You'll notice some abruptness and lack of coherence in the blod but that is because of the fact that I am really emotional when I am writing this.
When I thought of writing it the idea was to brainstorm through the best of the best songs but there are thousands of things that needs to be penned down. Isn't it. The idea is to list some of the best of the best songs that are out there and I am starting with the Pakistani songs because our country has produced some of the best pieces. Had it not been the malicious industry practises we would have witnesssed such stuff again but I guess it would take some time to get out of the situation.
